How the theatre works

Production house:
The Sealight theatre is a production house because it is a college theatre and the work that is shown in the theatre is all produced in within the theatre. Also the National Theatre is a Production house because it puts on its own work.

Receiving house:
All the theatres on the West end are Receiving houses because they bring in shows that are really good and make the most money and that are touring around.
